CKB completed the abandonment of a decommissioned grinder facility and installed a new 600mm line between two existing manholes to divert flow away from the facility. Prior to decommissioning, all salvageable internal components were removed, followed by the demolition of the facility’s ceiling and a full cleaning of the chamber. Once cleaned, the chamber and all existing piping were abandoned in place.
