CKB Construction began in 1984 when founders Ron and Phyllis Pannebaker started the business from their home shop with nothing more than determination and a portable welder. What started as a small, hands-on operation quickly developed a reputation for reliability, craftsmanship, and hard work.
After Ron’s passing, the next generation stepped in to carry the legacy forward. Sons Cliff, Kerry, and Bill, later joined by their sister Jodi, expanded the company’s capabilities while staying true to the values their parents instilled from the beginning.
In 2004, CKB Construction officially incorporated, marking a significant milestone in its growth. The company continued to evolve, and in 2018, it was acquired by The Abalone Group. Despite this change in ownership, CKB Construction continues to operate under its original name and remains deeply rooted in the ideals of a family-owned and operated business.
