CKB Construction started prepping the worksite in October of 2016 for a little rig to be hauled in to punch pipe under the Sturgeon River to tie-in the drainage system from Sturgeon Road to Rivercrest Crescent. This project included 11 shafts, up to 11 vertical meters deep and 6 meters in diameter. Our open cut scope of work, the manhole structures and the pipe tie-ins for the micro-tunneling portion were completed in late 2019 as well as the crossing of the South Interceptor Trunk y the North Interceptor Trunk.
